Blank wood slice magnets for children to decorate and turn into handmade fridge keepsakes.
Each pack contains five natural pine wood slices with flexible magnets already attached. The generous 6–8 cm surface gives children plenty of room to paint, draw or create their own design.
They’re perfect for making personalised gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, birthdays, Christmas and other special occasions. The recipient gets a handmade keepsake they can display on the fridge, rather than another paper card. With five included, siblings can each make their own, create gifts for several family members or save a few for another project.
The slices can be painted, drawn on (permanent markers and ballpoint pens work well), or decorated with photographs, glued shapes and other embellishments. They arrive sanded smooth and ready to decorate straight out of the pack.

Each slice measures approximately 6–8 cm in diameter, measured from bark edge to bark edge.
Thickness: approximately 10 mm.

Magnet information
These are decorative fridge magnets designed to hold the finished wood slice securely to a suitable metal surface. Their ability to hold paper will vary depending on the appliance and its metal content.
Magnet safety
These wood slices use large, low-powered flexible patch magnets rather than small, high-powered magnets. Adult supervision is recommended during children’s craft activities. Do not allow children to remove or play with the magnets, and discontinue use if a magnet becomes detached or damaged.
Wood type and sourcing
Our wood slices are made from radiata pine harvested by Stringybark Supplies in Victoria. Radiata pine is not native to Australia; by harvesting it, we help create space for native species to regenerate. Every slice is cut, dried, sanded and prepared at our workshop in Wesburn.
As this is a natural timber product, variations in grain, colour, shape and bark are to be expected and are part of the character of the wood.

We have quality control for every order to make sure your slices are:
- Flat and level
- Have no cracks or splits
- Uniform thickness (within a size range)
- Reasonably smooth surface (even when unsanded)
- Full ring of bark
- Within the stated size range
Please keep in mind wood slices are a natural product and they do differ in terms on shape, bark size and markings. Some pieces may have an occasional side branch nub.
Any pieces that don't make the cut for our standard listings, ends up in our seconds listing.
