Blank wood slice magnets, ready to decorate and turn into personalised fridge magnets.
Each pack contains 10 natural pine wood slices with magnets attached to the back. The generous 6–8 cm surface gives children and adults plenty of room to create their own design.
The slices can be painted, drawn on (Sharpie and ballpoint pens work well), wood-burned, or decorated with glued shapes, photographs and embellishments. They’re ideal for classroom activities, craft groups and handmade gifts for Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas or any special occasion.
Each wood slice is sanded smooth and fitted with a patch magnet on the back that will hold it to the fridge or any metal containing iron. The wood slices are ready to decorate straight out of the box.

Each slice measures approximately 6–8 cm in diameter, measured from bark edge to bark edge.
Thickness: approximately 8 mm.

Magnet information
These are decorative fridge magnets designed to hold themselves securely to a suitable magnetic surface. Their ability to hold paper will vary depending on the appliance and its metal content.
Some stainless-steel fridge doors are not magnetic, so we recommend checking the intended surface before ordering.
Magnet safety: We use large and low powered patch magnets that are very low risk for childrens activities, however care must always be taken.

Wood type & sourcing
Our wood slices are made from radiata pine harvested by Stringybark Supplies in Victoria. Radiata pine is not native to Australia; by harvesting it, we help create space for native species to regenerate. Every slice is cut, dried, sanded and prepared at our workshop in Wesburn.
As this is a natural timber product, variations in grain, colour, shape and bark are to be expected and are part of the character of the wood.

We have quality control for every order to make sure your slices are:
- Flat and level
- Have no cracks or splits
- Uniform thickness (within a size range)
- Reasonably smooth surface (even when unsanded)
- Full ring of bark
- Within the stated size range
Please keep in mind wood slices are a natural product and they do differ in terms on shape, bark size and markings. Some pieces may have an occasional side branch nub.
Any pieces that don't make the cut for our standard listings, ends up in our seconds listing.
