Wood Slices are measured from the edge of the bark across the center. When slightly oval in shape we measure across the smallest face.
Note that bark thickness varies, but in general smaller pieces will have thinner bark.

These wood slices are rustic and unsanded making them great for wedding centerpieces without the added expense of sanding. They are cut flat and level with milling equipment (not a chainsaw) so they will hold whatever you put on them without tipping over. They have a rough but even surface texture. They are not treated in any way.
